The UrbEX handbook is a free-to-use lookbook for youth workers, educators, teachers, local activists, urbanists and social and educational sector workers. It is the first publication to focus on urban exploration as an educational model with specific attention to young people at risk of social exclusion.

exchange meetings
for youth workers
& young people

During the project, we facilitated meetings to exchange knowledge and organised local labs to test and improve the urban exploration tools we are researching. At the first workshop in Palermo, we invited youth workers to try out our tools and develop new ones. Afterwards, they introduced them to young people from their networks. Finally, we invited youth to try out our Urban Exploration Toolkit in order to optimise and finalise it.
